I am a Year 7 student in the Uru MÄnuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
I was a little confused with your book image and your review. It sounds as if you reviewed the story 'Adrocles and the Lion'? You followed the instructions for the review well and showed your understanding of this fable. The moral that you have written here. 'To be a good person no matter what' fits very well with this story. Androcles, even though he was a slave and escaping, took the time to help the lion. ( Most people would never do this) Androcles had some terrible experiences. He was a slave, he was caught escaping, he was thrown to the lions in the colosseum and yet I think he was still a kind man. I hope you enjoyed reading the 'Darkling Plain' even if you didn't like 'Androcles and the Lion'. I'd love to know more about the Darkling Plain as that series looks fascinating.
Hello Eddie. It does sound like you have confused the book with the review. I am pleased that you said you did not like the story. I think it is important to be able to say whether or not we enjoy certain types of narratives. I'm just going to put the comment sore/saw to see if you saw about the sore paw! I am enjoying reading your work. :)
Good morning Eddie.I agree with the above comments.I like that you have given the story a 1 out of 5 stars.Maybe next time, you could explain why you didn't like the story rather than just say that you didn't. Have a great weekend and keep safe.Take care and I miss our 'good mornings' when I am on road patrol.
