Hello fellow people,
Yesterday, we were learning about how to show not tell and to capture our audience. The class highlighted the week verbs in their story and used a site called "Thesaurus".
When we used the site we would look up the word, lets say I looked up the word "Looked" it would come up with a list of word that you could use and if you scrolled down a little you would see a box. In the box it say "Put your sentence here!" and you would put your sentence in the box.
Here is a week verb sentence:
Jeff smiled at Bradley.
And here is a strong verb sentence:
Jeff glanced at Bradley and gave a quick smirk.
