I am a Year 7 student in the Uru MÄnuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
WoW Eddie. You have given me something to think about.I think the lie is the one about you shooting a gun.I remember making a bow and arrow when I was younger,so I think that, that one is true.
Aha, I'm Grandma and I was there, so this is easy for me. It all sounds pretty true to me. It wasn't your eye that you hit with the kickback from the air rifle - it was your forehead and now you know not to have it touching your head when you pull the trigger. You were a great shot and hit the paint can. I think the lie was burning the bow. It was freshly cut bamboo and would not have burned well. I think playing with the fire (feeding sticks into the barbecue) was your favourite activity. I went to cut flax wood so we could whittle them into canoes. Next time, we'll take out a boat on our private lake and you can learn to row. I need you to help me cut off some willow branches that are hanging into the water and starting to grow roots too. We can't wait for your next visit!
Wow Eddie, very very interesting writing. I love the way you introduce an idea and then add more detail. Excellent, tino pai.
